FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - DAYCARE

Feel free to give us a call if you have any other questions!

WHAT DO I NEED TO SIGN MY DOG UP FOR DAYCARE?

We require vaccination records from your vet that show proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (all puppies must have received final booster), and Bordetella (must be given at least 3 days prior to entering our facility). These need to be emailed or faxed over to us before your dog's first day.

We also require that our Release Waiver/Questionnaire is signed and completed upon arrival. This usually takes about 5 minutes, so please plan your first drop off accordingly.

HOW MUCH DOES DAYCARE COST?

Prices depend on how many dogs you have and how long they come to play. We have three different rates that we use for daycare: up to 2 hours, a half day rate (2-5 hours), and a full day rate (5+ hours). Please give us a call at 815-304-4041 to get rates for your dogs.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Please call and make an appointment for your dog's first daycare visit at least 24 hours in advance. After this, if everything goes well their first day, they can come back anytime we are open for daycare.

We are not currently accepting new daycare clients. Please give us a call to be added to the wait list.

CAN I TAKE A TOUR OF YOUR FACILITY?

Absolutely! We are currently offering tours on Sundays by appointment only between 10AM and Noon. You can call 815-304-4041 to schedule a tour.

You are more than welcome to bring your dog on the tour, but we must have vaccination records that show proof of Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella before they are allowed into our facility. All dogs must be leashed.

CAN YOU FEED MY DOG A LUNCH?

Yes, we sure can! As long as you bring your pup's food and provide feeding instructions we are more than happy to feed them their lunch.

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR VISIT?

Feel free to give us a call, send us an email, or send a Facebook message and we will gladly give you an update on your pup! We post a Welcome post on Facebook for every newcomer and we post pictures weekly on Facebook. We will send more upon request!

HOW OLD DOES MY PUPPY HAVE TO BE TO START DAYCARE?

We do require all dogs, especially puppies to be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella. Puppies can usually receive all of these vaccinations anywhere between 16 and 18 weeks of age. We strongly recommend that they have had their final Distemper booster before socializing with any other dogs. If they are able to receive the vaccinations we require than they can come play.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - BOARDING

Feel free to give us a call if you have any other questions!

WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE A BOARDING RESERVATION?

We require vaccination records from your vet that show proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (puppies must have received final booster), and Bordetella (must be given at least 3 days prior to entering our facility). These need to be emailed or faxed over to us before your dog's first day - vaccination records finalize your reservation.

HOW MUCH IS AN OVERNIGHT?

Prices depend on how many dogs you have and how long they come to stay and play. We currently have a single night rate and a multiple night rate. Please give us a call at 815-304-4041 to get rates for your dog's stay.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

If possible, please make your boarding reservation at least 48 hours in advance. We cannot always guarantee there will be room for you dog if you do not make a reservation, especially around the holidays or busy weekends. We understand that life happens and emergencies come up, just give us a call as soon as you can and we can try to work something out.

Due to the influx in Summer boarding, we recommend that you book your dog's stay as soon as you can to guarantee their spot. We are currently booking through the end of the year.

MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?

Absolutely! We can accommodate almost any diet from prescription kibble to raw since we have multiple refrigerators and freezers in the facility. We do require detailed instructions, the more detailed the better. This works for medications as well. Please leave us detailed instructions on when and how to administer their medications. If they have multiple pills a day, daily pill organizers work great!

WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

Since we allow personal belongings we do not supply much for our overnight guests. We do supply bowls and can supply blankets if needed. If food is forgotten, or not enough is packed, we feed our house food for a $5/day per dog charge. Feel free to bring anything you are comfortable with your pup having in their "room" overnight, we want them to be comfortable here!

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUP PLAY?

We like to have our overnight friends out mingling with our daily visitors, but it is not required. If your pup is more relaxed hanging out by themselves we can accommodate that too, just let us know before drop off. We want your dog to be as comfortable as possible, if socializing is not their thing that is okay. They will still get separate indoor/outdoor play times and potty breaks.
